Update – Charlotte Hornets’ Team and Player Statistics for 2020-2021

Despite the health and socioeconomic challenges that the United States is facing, the NBA 2020 – 2021 season has continued. The Charlotte Hornets played their first game of the season in December 2020. As at April 6, 2021, the Charlotte Hornets have played 49 games, 22 at home and 27 on the road, winning 25 and losing 24. It has averaged 115.3 points in the games it won and 105.9 points in the ones it lost.

Looking at individual player statistics, guard Terry Rozier leads the team in scoring, averaging 20.4 points in 47 games played. Rozier is followed by forward Gordon Hayward with an average of 19.6 points from 44 games played and guard LaMelo Ball, who has 15.9 points from 41 games.

Center Cody Zeller leads the team in rebounds, recording an average of 6.9 per game, slightly ahead of forward P.J. Washington, who is second with 6.5 rebounds. Both Ball and Hayward have averaged 5.9 rebounds. Ball leads the team in both assists and steals, averaging 6.1 assists and 1.6 steals per game.
